I am looking for a company that makes a bracket for my 1991 240sx hatch i have a set of recaro sport line seats and i can't justify spending the crazy money on the recaro brackets so cheap yet decent brackets are what i am looking. oh yes and they have to be as low as possible. I saw the weapon R brackets they say weapon R seats or Sparco's has any one used them on recaro's ? thanks!

theres 2 types of seat rails for 2 different types of aftermarket seats, bottom mount, and sidemount.

sidemounted seats are the lowest you can get.

are your seats sidemount or bottom mount?

No one said fixing up cars was 'cheap'. You spend the money to get Recaro's instead of some off brand crap, but you won't go the extra mile for the rails/mounts...I don't get it. No offense but do it right or don't do it...

dude 169 from frsport, sure you could find cheaper.

i think the bride rails are the cheapest and best you can get unless you wanna go flying through your windshield when you hit the brakes hella hard or get in a wreck

well i got the seats for an unheard of low price. and its nuts to think that the brackets are going to cost almost as much as the seats. not to mention i was looking to do this economically and soon or i would just wait the month I have to for the welder i know to get some free time. he will weld me up some for prob 75 or 100 for both there really isn't a rocket science to brackets its just about having the tools. I think we can all agree that 169 bux is crazy for what 30 bux worth or materials and time. i know its just the American way right ?

i have apc seats(bought the car like that, NOT MY CHOICE) and i switched the driver seat and passanger seat cuz the driver seat wouldnt go back. the kid used some kind of thick wall tube, 1/4 inch, with a hole in the center to slide the bolt through. its really half ***'d and gay but i dont have the cash to buy new seats. you could try that, so far i havent had any problems.

hilarious, if you got the recaros for that cheap they're probably not the real deal, or you just got lucky, try the nrg rails, they make knock off recaro srd (type r) style and evo style seats

think their rails sell for under a 100 bucks for the pair

*warning try at your own risk*

hahahahahhahahahahahaha

they call me the deal man : ) and i don't mess with fake **** . ever hear the phrase if you look hard enough you can find what you want for the price you want it for ? if not its a good motto to live by never let me down .... mind you as a side note ******* i don't buy stolen **** nor do i steal anything haha***

wahooo!

im looking into the nrg brackets they are made by the same company that makes all the top end seat brackets wedge engineering so im not too worried about the quality of them. they should be cool! will keep looking to find a company selling them for our cars will let ya dudes know what i find.
