Does the resevoir overflow excess coolant? Maybe there is a flow restriction in your radiator that is causing pressure and pushing coolant into the resevoir. The resevoir gets to it's max capacity, then starts dumping coolant.
That stuff doesn't just magically dissappear. It's either being burned (HG), leaking, evaporating (really not likely), or escaping somewhere else (resevoir).
no the resevoire or the radiator does not have a pressure relief valve, the only valve it has it cap from atmospheric pressure which keeps it in.
