25 has TopHat or McKenny mounts. Although I lauph when I see how easy they would be to make.

Does anyone have personal experience with both? I need a set (and dont have the shop to fab them...) The mckinney's are like 625, the TopHats are slightly cheaper, 400ish IIRC... Whats the major difference? Is one better than the other?

exactly, i think the mck ones are just pure rip-off...and they're not even CNC. a couple plates cost less than $20 in materials.

Me and my buddies are thinking of making Mount like McKenny's but wil better fittment out of the box and better bushing setup. Have you looked at the busting? Its two bolts with washers welded on pressed into the poly material... My buddies mounts broke in that spot and the washer cam out of the polly. So we drilled it all the way through and put one large bolt through and it worked great.

Well if you decide to make your own in the next few weeks, sign me up for a set! Seriously... I'd much rather have something sturdy made by someone who has done the swap than pay $600 for a set thats going to break. Overbuild is way better than broken crap :-D

Any other opinions on them? I'll need a set in the next month, sooner the better.
