i'm buying a car from a member here. what should i be looking for when i go and pick up this vehicle. rb20det/ S13.5 body setup. sounds like a good deal.

Look at the car and drive it. That's pretty much all you can do when you're buying a hybrid car. Look at the wiring and see how well it runs etc.... go from there.

You could take a boost gauge if he doesn't have one installed already, t in and see if the car is making the right boost and holding. It's not much, but it can often tell you alot about the car if there are problems

I just looked at the car you drive, I have a 87 TII as well as an RB25 240. expect similiar handling, and more power than the stock Rx-7 TII has.

WELL WELL were from the same hometown. i grad from holmes in 98. i enlisted in the usmc and i'm stationed in new york now. i'm selling my fc3s because i have had some serious problems with it. has apexi exhaust port polished rotor and safc and avcr indiglo gauges. it was pushin 1.7BAR woo hoo. untill it over heated once and then that was it. soo it is at a master mechanic in jamaica ny. i'm getting ready to say bye bye though. thanks for the reply.
