240sx project?

hey everyone,
ok so i found a really cheap beat up 240sx coupe non vert on craigslist(http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1906592359.html) and thought hey this would be a good project car. from the looks of it its pretty obvious what needs to be fix. i dont know if its an auto or manual. my question is, is it a good project car, how much would it cost to get it running again(budget is at 2k,think thats enough to get it running) and. this is my 1st project and would like to know what im getting into before i start on it or even buy it. any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

i think you would blow through 2k quite quickly on a car that has no motor, transmission, front cap, front suspension, brakes, or wheels and tires. if you had a wrecked donor than this would probably make a good shell to swap to, but to rebuild you have a lot of road to cover. just my opinion.

yeah but i was thinking if i just buy some used part and fairly cheap but reliable then i'll have enough to get it running
