I bought this car about a 2 months ago. I got it for $2,000. It has 93,000 Miles on it. Everything on the car is stock... Pretty much sucks... I have already gotten a tune up, clutch, exhaust on it and i'll post pictures of the mods asap. But here are the pictures I was able to get not long

They Pucks I am going bo be putting on will be wrapped in aluminum. More or less they should hold together long enough till i can buy some Nismo mounts.

why not just wait until you have the money for the nismo ones? When I was into trucks we used to do some stuff with a welder and chains to strengthen the motor mounts (weld end of chain to frame, wrap around engine mount, use come-along to pull tight and then weld the chain again to the frame) But that's if your into doing stupid work that we only did because the trucks were worth less than $500.00 total.

That seems like a pretty clean looking car and it only has 93,000 miles. Thats about 4,894 miles a year if its an '89 and 5,166 miles a year if its a '90. I assume almost everything is in nice condition. I don't understand why anyone would want to mod or destroy the interior on such a nice looking car. Why not keep it stock or sell it to someone that might be interested in preserving it? Anyway, that is a really nice find. Good luck tearing it a new one!

Can we get some interior shots?

Yeah I'll get some interior shots asap! Its pretty clean. A few cracks in the dash. Carpet is in pretty good condition.. The seats suck.... but i didn't expect to sit in anything to amazing seeing how old it it!

Another thing I plan on doing is after I tear it apart. I want to replace what I take out with something that is a lot lighter. So that the look is preserved as much as possible while still making it lighter. Best of both worlds!

Nice find....I'd just hate to waste the extra money on one running....if we could only find a chassis that clean with such low mileage then we'd be good.

Well the reason i took this one is because it has to be my daily drive as well. So i needed something that runs so i can go to work! To make the money to buy the parts.

So as an update thus far on whats happened on my car thus far...

Stock muffler rusted and broke.... had to replace...

Clutch went out and had to replace....

Passenger Side door lock broke and had to replace...

Gotten side swipped on drivers side door... Hit and run.. still needs to be repaired....

Another hit and run... someone backed up into me and i am guessing with their hitch they put a whole in my rear bumper...

Window cracked and now needs to be replaced...

so this is becoming a nightmare... I am seriously not a fan... But i do love the car and will evenutally make it something to be proud of... as long as things don't keep breaking and falling apart on me...

Hey you were talking about stripping the interior? WELL post some pics of the interior please, because if all the parts in the trunk area are in good condition i will buy them ALL off you. Every single one. From the Stock speaker covers, Down and back all the way to the tail light covering and stuff. Even the Fabric around the rear struts.

Does not sound like its been abused on the inside so post some pics and i will get you some cash flow for some repairs if you are willing to sell me that stuff.

Sorry to hear that your car is getting bullied!

I'm going to take a huge guess at this but maybe you should try checking our classifieds section. Also try craigslist under autoparts and cars+trucks. Sometimes people post stuff in the wrong section there, too. On craigslist search for 240sx.

Welcome to Nico.

ok first of OP welcome, sounds like you have bad luck, or park in lots that stupid people frequent

to alot of people in this thread... wtf

dont ask if anyone has a transmission in this guys thread, make ten constructive posts before posting in the classifieds....

while the car is "clean" if the OP wants to strip the interior more power to him, you dont have to discredit him in his own thread

Why not just put the bolts back in where the seat belts used to be? Or some plugs.
