hey guys, ive been lookin around nico and tryin to lean as much as possible, i have a 240sx that i want to possibly buy its a 1991 240sx le hatch, the engine has a knock but im plannin to swap it for another ka, the price is $450 which i think is a good deal, i would have to look for rust and if the chassis is straight and all.

my dad wants me to save up more and buy a fine one, thats running and all, can someone give me advice?

You should ask for more pics of the Exterior and the interior or check it out first. Estimate the cost to fix, tow, parts, etc. I bought mines for $2300 a few weeks ago and the transmission went bad on me. Cost me $150 to fix it with a friend discount.

I bet i'll cost the same if you buy one that already 5 speed unless your going all out fixing it up and tuning it for racing then go for it.

ka swap is one thing, even if you swapping the same engine, and 5speed swap is another...

if your doing it yourself doing both at the same time is a beast of wiring and bolts to remember... however it will be easier to swap in the motor and transmission when they are bolted together so that your not under the car fiddlin with the best way to tilt the transmission so that it fits...

good luck if you go for it but $450+tow+about $200running motor if your lucky+$150 motor+clutch+new seals+ gaskets... your looking at around $1000 to get what you want out of it...

be a little less impatient and wait a lil for a $1100 running one
