240sx NEW NO START PROBLEM! HELP PLEASE! I want to get her running for the summe

Nissan 240sx convertible.The car will turn over most of the time, but it won't start. I replaced the ignition switch and lock, and the battery and still nothing. Starts perfectly when jumped. and all the electrics (radio, lights, horn etc..) work.

Please let me know if you know anything.

Have the starter bench tested. I had a similar problem with my 240sx. The problem would go away after I pulled and reinserted the starter fuse, in the interior fuse box. But the car would not start up again after turning it off.

The problem was the starter kept "Jumping the bench" and we replaced the starter.

Also check all the connections (especially between the battery and starter) and make sure that they are all tight and not corroded.

Hey guys thanks for the response.. I had the started checked and they said it was okay. the alternator's alright, but the battery was low... so either there's a drain or the battery's bad... i had bad battery terminal clamps so i got those new... we'll see if it keeps going.
