My a new dude in the 240sx world . Needing some guidence towards my issue .

I have a 1993 240SX with a Misfire issue . I replaced the following items below 1. new Spark-plugs 2.new Cap & Router3.new Spark Plug Wires.

After replacing these's items . i stll have misfiring cyclinder. Then i brough out the multi meter and read out the injector. All of them read 10-11 ohms with the exception of the 4th injector on the 4th cyclinder.I have replaced it . Ran good for 6days and now back to the misfiring again .

One thing i did want to point out is the 4th cyclinder spark plug was brown. All the rest of the spark plugs where white ceramic showing . Also the same day with the misfire. I notice with a full tank of gas i have used 1/4 of the tank from a normal drive from work . ODD!!!!

Could it be a bad injector in cyc. 4 again .. What are you all thoughts.

try putting a thread chaser in the #4 hole becuse maybe there is a carbon build up on the threads and that could be causing your misfire.

brake out a screwdriver and use it as a stethoscope against your ear while the car is running so you can tell if the no. 4 injector is opening and closing, you should hear a ticking. If no ticking then you have an elec. prob. or the injector you put in took a dump also. Sounds to me like you have a short to ground and thats what took out you previous injector and possibly this one also.

Thank you for the advices. I found the issue . It was a penched o-ring and BAd Injectect in cyclinder #1By checking the OHM reading on #1 injector was 33omhs Bad reading . All the other was 10-11Ohms.. now the car run like a champ.

Now I'm going to workl on the Oil-leak Under the 240sx.
