When will the mounts be done for the RB25's, the trans mount in perticular and also why does the RT mount seem to be under pressure, like the motor side is too far forward and the crossmember side is too far back? They seem to do a decent job of fitting the engine in excepot that the exhaust still contacts the steering column. I think that they should have the engine clear all obstructions to be worth the cost.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you would like to discuss this further, or post your answers here.

I am not at all staisfied with the fitment they provide.

Not sure whats goin on there. Did you try switching the mounts around before you put the motor in? Mine was labled wrong and I had to switch them around. Tho mine is a RB20 can't tell which 1 you have.

Maybe that is the problem, This is an RB25 I think there is a slight differenc ein the exhaust. I spoke to Cameron about it and he says he had the same problems when he did his install. Why would someone sell these mounts knowing, A)They arent finished(no trans mount) and B)They dont quite work?

Anyway, just wanted to vent a little and hopefully hear fromt he mounts creator what was going on with them....

Thanks for listening!

EVERYONE THOUGHT I WAS JUST TRYING TO BE A ****.... AND THE TRUTH TELLS ALL.

JON: MY MOUNTS WERE LIKE THAT BUT ON BOTH SIDES AND THE DUMPPIPE WAS ACTUALLY BENDING THE STEERING SHAFT WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE ENGINE TO THE POINT WHERE THE WHEEL WOULDN'T TURN.

I thought the purpose of the forum was th share info, not hide it...

I am not the person who purchased these parts, nor are you the person they were purchased from. I contacted Cameron and he claimed to have the same problems I am having. Him not notifying you of the situation is not my issue.

I am sending you an email now, hopefully you will be able to rectify this situation.

If I switch the motor side brackets, it will put the motor so far back that I would have to notch the firewall to make it fit. The crossmember side brackets wont fit on the other side...I dont know what to do.

Going back to the original topic, I plan to bring my RB20 240 and hopefully a few other SR swapped 240s.
