I see all of these KA-T boys thinking they have something we need to arrange a 240 meet at a drag strip and we will battle this out and show them the power of the SR! Is anyone with me on this?

why dont u advertise this in the KA forum and go battle them your self then you can come back and tell us how it went. You cant just have a SR vs KA-T battle... A KA-T with more mods pushing out alot more WHP would obviously beat a stock SR. Each engine can be great in their own way with the right mods.

^^^ Oh I see you are the SR poster child for bandwagoneers?

While I agree it would be fun it would also be POINTLESS. It would be a matter of who spent more money on their car. 90% of SR owners have the same power as 90% of KA-T owners. Something worth while would be something like the Chicago SRT-4 club vs the Chicago Mustang Club, that video was cool.

I've only heard Honda ricers constantly refer to the KA as a truck engine. I guess to most of them if it doesn't rev to 9000 it isn't fast.

KA vs SR would be fun, but it wouldn't prove that one is > than the other.

there will be more ppl with faster KA-Ts, heres my take on it:

many ppl with KA-Ts are close to achieving their HP goals already because when buying the turbo, they choose the one to suite their needs.

many ppl with SRs only have bolt ons because they spent their money into the swap. They still got a way to go from a turbo upgrade.

but its still sounds liek a fun idea. im totally up for it.

I'll agree there. An upgraded turbo, injectors, ecu tune, mafs, etc. isn't usually in the budget for most people.

**** you i'm not gay foolz, the sr20det get better gas millage than a ka24, i looked at both options and the sr20det is much cheeper, my sr had only 27k miles on it, and it was only cost 3k, the greddy turbo kit for a ka24 cost almost the same, and my old ka24 engine had over 150k miles on it. foolz

It doesnt matter which version of the 240sx it is for the fact is for that price u still get everything u need to make more power than a stock SR can make. Lamborghini makes the same V12 engines for use in offshore racing boats... does it make it a boat engine? Don't take insults seriously. Just think before you post nonsense. Gas milage has nothing to do with power. The KA is still a very strong engine overall and most people can do alot more by using the $3500 on a KA than buying a stock SR. No more to say.

I think he needs to be suspended from NICO for like a week.
