240sx Meet in York, PA Saturday July 9

Im trying to get a 240sx meet going on in York on 7/9. A few guys from Turboforum.net and 240sxforums.com are gonna show up and im hoping we can get some more people from NICO to come. I was gonna try to have the meet at Sams Club but since there has been so many people screwing around lighting fireworks and doing other stupid ****, its gonna have to be someplace else but im not sure where yet. Im usually in York and Hanover each weekend with my Tan 240sx Coupe w/ SR20. Contact me through AIM under DrifterProdigy85. Im hoping to see alot of 240's out.

So I want 2 get an update from every one who things they might come out

It looks like we could have a large turnout!! It'll get the attention of all those big bad v8 guys around here!! This should be fun!!

Although I haven't been out for a while, I think the circut scene starts to pick up around 8ish. We should all meet at a resturant or something like that around 5. Applebees is near Sams club, isn't it? we could meet there, hang for a while until everyone arrives, then go eat. Then we can go cruise around or something. Just a suggestion. Might even be able to get permission from Applebee's manager to be there(assuming we eat there also) so the cops don't hassle us!

There is always West york area too. Only problem(maybe a problem) is there will be a lot of muscle cars in west york because of the US 30 speedway show thing at the fairgrounds.

If all else fails, I might have a place. (LAST RESORT THOUGH)

I wont be able to go out and eat because i have plans untill i leave around 8 to head to York. We could all probably get something to eat sometime later in the night at Around The Clock Dinner or Dennys. The definite hangout spot once its dark will probably be in front of Sams or Walmart. Not in the far back parking lot. The circuit actually is mostly dead now since so many people sit and chill back at Sams and Walmart after dark. Pre meet at 5:30 at applebees in the parking lot of the Walmart shopping center. Eat around 6:30 at applebee's. From what I understand the scene starts to pick up around 8pm in that same parking lot. We can hang, check out cars, meet people. Maybe cruise around later. then maybe dessert at round the clock or dennys late!

I am going to send this out by Email and post on other forums, so we can get a big crowd!

It was pretty fun. Hopefully we can get some more cars in next months meet. More happened after everybody left. Me and CyberKreig went to Sheetz and met up with another 240 that wasnt at the meet. Then we all went out cruising on the circuit for a few laps. It was pretty fun times.

drifter_for_life, if you want to meet up sometime at Shrewsbury Commons just let me know and ill show you the car.

I'm very happy with the turnout at our first organized meet. There were 8 or 9 SR powered 240's, a 300+whp SOHC KA-T, a few NA 240's, SC 350Z, and a TT Z32. There was a pretty cool T3-T04E turbo'd Sonoma pickup with a huge Front mount IC. Everything else on it was stock(ie Fast Sleeper!!) Fred and I were ther about 6:30 to eat. Everyone else started showing up around 8. Cops didn't bother with us(they were to busy going after all the slammed Civics, and the camaro trying to impress us.) We did get a knod from one of the cops. We hung out and checked out everyone's cars, talked, and laughed at the V8 guys. The civic that burned the clutch instead of the tires, trying to impress us was hilarious! The only other significant thing that happened was some 30ish year old chick came walking up around 11 with no bra on(Nice big bouncing equipment) and said she wanted to know were all the fast cars were. Someone said, "that would be those ones over there", pointing at all the SR swapped 240's. she flirted for a while, while her older(whoever he was) sat in their van and watched. as they were leaving someone yelled(get your t**s out. We got 2(thanks to Fred not seeing the first time) great t*t shots while they were driving past!!

On the way home, I was with Fred, we came up to this 2000ish mustang with a bunch of pillar guages and really loud exhast. Fred pulled up next to him going about 35mph and He gave us one of those yeah right looks and reved it a little. Fred dropped back a few feet and hammered it. He face looked like he just saw a ghost, HE LOOKED SCARED!! He turned at the next turn!!!

It was a fun night. Thanks to Fred for picking me up and driving me around!! We talked about doing it once a month so stay tuned! Pictures will be coming from another member!
