Hello,

On my 97 240sx with 300zx front brakes my fronts are locking to soon.

I have messed with camber, tire pressures, and of course bled them for hours...nothing helps.

I have read that the 300zx MC swap gives better pedal feel but will it increase rear brake bias?

Thanks!

Define 'locking too soon'... is this with just regular driving or when you drive hard?I run Z32 brakes on the front and I don't have that problem. I have plenty of room to 'modulate' the brakes. I'd look into whether your rear calipers are leaking and/or seized. Also, do you use stainless steel brake lines? If not, get them asap.

The fronts lock before the rear.

The question is will installing the 300zx MC move more bias to the rear?

anyone?

All the articles I have come across say the pedal feel will be better with the 300zx MC but none talk about if it will move more braking power to the rear.

I am not expecting miracles with the 300zx MC just want to know ANY info on getting the rears to lock before the fronts.....other then installing a valve.

THANKS!!!

The fronts are supposed to lock before the rears.... but if you want an easy way to change bias, run more aggressive pads in the rear.

I would get z32 BMC anyway. Never seen a negative feedback on it. You got nothing to loose, so I'd go ahead and see what happens along with new pads.
