240sx manual transmission bolt removal suggestions..

so im in the process of taking off my tranmission... then i get to the last bolt.. i cant get to it, its the very top one.. i have a 93 model so if anyone has any suggestions on how to take it out plz let me know. im stuck on this one, any help would be wonderful.. thanks

Jack up on the crank pulley to give yourself more room.

If you are talking about the actual bellhousing to block bolt, it is not too difficult. 14mm socket on a flex head ratchet works best. You get to it from under the car, make sure the starter is out of the way.

Yeah, shouldn't be too hard with a u-joint.

rachet with a ujoint, hug the trans and reach up and around.

Use an extension with a swivel socket. Have someone on top guide it and put the socket on the bolt.

You can tilt the front of the motor up and use a lot of extensions. Go from under the car. That's what I did at least

Use a lot of extensions and a swivel, jack the motor up and have another jack under the transmission, slowly drop the jack under the transmission until you can see the bolt. Then take that sucker out! I do agree, it is a pain in the rear, but it's not too bad if you do that!
