ARGH!!!!!I need help my shifter feels like its locked up and only goes in 3rd and 4th and when it feels like its in neutral its really in reverse. I was told it is an internal adjustment and somthing might have broke in the syncronizing which threw it all off but hell i dont know????? Iam trying to get off as cheap as possible but i think its going to be hard. PLEASE HELP :help

There are shift rails in the trans that transmit shifter movement to the shift forks that engage the gears.These are held in place by shift pins that wear and drop out into the trans case or just shear off making the shifter stick in 2 gears or just one.Sometimes the shift fork or forks break.This still means the trans needs to come apart. SORRY!!
