alrighty...just gott he plates and registration for my 89 240 FB 3 pedal today and its running great! smokes a lil on accel and stuff but other than that really good..oo and the belts squeal pretty good too! (annoying)..but anyways.. today i was going into the next door town and got on the brakes a lil cus a friend of mine was messin round on his dirt bike in the road so i decided to play it safe an d slow down but when i did that the brake pedal went completely to the floor and heard the fluid push out...well i got er home and put it on the ramps abnd right above the coupling type deal by the passenger side rocker panel the one brake line has sprung a tiny hole in it... anyways i broke the line and crimped it off really right and the brake pedal felt tight like it used to.. im sure i gotta bleed the brakes but other than that its all good... where can i get a set of new brake lines for the cheapest..just oem grade stuff... no SS or steal woven ones... and any other suggestions about preventitive maintenance? also any suggest on a PCV valve..heard yur suposed to change em every 10k miles...any advice is appreciated.. and thanks in adavance!

you can probobly bend your own, its not that hard. i dont't know of any company that specificaly sells the hardlines but i haven't really looked that much either, i would say to start by checking out some of the sponsor's sites.

are u talkng about replacement rubber hoses?

if so, i've got an extra set of 4 laying around... w/out the washers for the banjo bolts (that can be easily had from auto parts store or local dealer)

as for the pcv, you can just remove-shake to see if the valve is loose-blast it w/ some carb cleaner-reinstall

If you want OEM, I would check at a Nissan dealership. Some parts are pretty reasonable...and sometimes cheaper than cheap aftermarket parts.

thanks bud

bending hardlines not that hard... cutting/re-double flaring ends aren't too bad either!

PS: when u dig thru those replacement parts, forget the intake boot if it has a tear; i already have a duct-taped one that's holdin'

offer still stands if u decide to replace rubber hoses as well
