I believe...Z32, Mustang Cobra, Skyline and Maxima MAFS will work.

The cobra maf i think you need to have a JWT ecu tuned for it, but the rest (except the maxima, dont know about that) have been tuned to be used on a KA with the s-afc. Someone correct me if im wrong.

I was curious what is the gain of putting a cobra MAF on the KA im not completely knowledgable on what the MAF recieves for input on air. But What would the Cobra MAF do to help performance wise? (IE economically, or race)

Cobra wouldnt be necessary unless you were planning on flowing MORE air. Otherwise, no performance increase unless your current MAFS was ****ty to start with. Your looking at approx. 250rwhp in a turbo setup before you reach the stock MAFS limit.

Personally I would look into a MAP sensor instead and get a conversion thingmabob.

Well im not turbo but is the stock 240sx MAF set up where it has liek screens on either end? Wouldnt that decrease the flow of air or make it turbulent entering the intake manifold? The cobra one seems pretty simple with a singular center peice that reads the air. Other than taking the screens off (not sure if it would work after that) then the cobra maf seems like a good upgrade.

If you get a larger maf, that is less restrictive, it will provide a small benefit over the stock maf. Same concept as going with less restrictive intake piping.

Provided you can calibrate it to work with the rest of the system.

The element in the 240 MAFS is very small. It doesent block much, and its usually far enough away from the TB that its not going to cause ANY problems whatsoever. A larger MAFS may not line up nicely to the TB opening and depending on what you do, could hurt torque slightly by lowering the intake velocity.
