240sx lsd

I have a 93 240sx se hatch. I have a few mods done already but while im working on other mods i want a cheap LSD......for now. Someone told me that all S14 have an LSD. Is that true. If this is true then i will just go to a junk yard and get a S14's diff and bolt it to mine, i heard the axels are the same.

Someone told you wrong. If you'd search on here, you'd find that only the S14s that came equipped with ABS were also equipped with a VLSD.

true... not all s14's come with lsd's... how ever u can get a j30 lsd or the best one is prolly the 300zx lsd...

is there a difference betwene the LSD's? i have one from my old super hicas. i figured since they were all a VLSD that they would basically be the same...or am i wrong to think this?

mechanically they are all the same. just find one that fits your chassis.... or weld your open diff.

The vlsd tends to wear out faster than the gear type lsd. The fluid inside is non-serviceable too.
