I have a 240 with an open diff. With the open diff casing, if i buy a new lsd, such as one from kaaz, will it fit into the open diff casing, or do i still have to buy a 240 diff or a 300zx diff even if i'm buying an aftermarket one?

no.. some company made lsd just for the open diff and is a str8 drop in.
