I want to know also. The best thing I could find was this thread, asking for how to do it, haha.

its pretty easy... what are you looking to kill? starter motor? fuel pump? All you gotta do is wire in a switch to the hot wire.... It's two screws for the wires and a grounding wire... really no big deal.

I was thinking about doing an ignition kill. Where would I be splicing into here? Does anyone have detailed instructions, that would help soooo much since I don't want to accidently splice the wrong wire and not have a functional car or blow something up.

The DIY link is pretty cool, I think I would like to try that. I will read it in more detail later. However, I'm still pretty confused on exactly where I should be splicing.

Thanks

*edit* which would be the best place to place the kill? ignition, fuel pump, somewhere else?

also, as I see it, the kill switch basically has to be "pushed" while starting the car, or before starting the car as in the web article above. Is that right?

taken from team-integra.net. the concept is the same, you can apply it to the fuel pump power wire

the relay is critical if putting a switch on a high current circuit(fuel pump). just a switch and you've got a fire hazard.

it's not too hard to figure out. just get a relay, take it casing off, power it and see it in action and imagine the stuff you can do with it
