The better driver. I'd say the better driver in the 240sx, but then again I'm a little biased.

Edit: Oh wait you said KA24E...not DE. Umm...lesse...the 200sx and the sentra were basically the same thing, so yeah pick one of the two.

considering all drivers are even, the 240

thats a guess of course, i dont know for sure

edit: actualy now i think it would be either the 200sx or the sentra, the sohc 240's were kindof slow

the sohc 240's are just as good as the 91 and up. you dont feel 10 horses. 89 90 are so underrated. ive driven both..

fwd=no traction. Sohc=no power (unfortunately). BTW where in puerto rico are you? I may go back home to ponce this winter, be cool to meet up somewhere (no way in hell I'm taking my car with me though...not with the maniacs on the road down there;))

95-98 are just plain heavy, thats why we beat them. sentras and 200sx se-r's would beat s14 also.

Maybe because the S14's are heavier. Yeah.;) I can beat mustangs off the line (kill the V6s the whole way through :D) because they're f*in tanks...

Mustangs maybe tanks, but the SVT Cobra's haul azz. Thats about the only new mustang I remotely like. I was supposed to give my manager's car an oil change, but took it for a little spin. :D Oh the joys of working at a car dealership.

My company ( http://www.transitart.org ) recently did some work for a local Ford dealership and we got to test drive a couple things as part fo the deal because well, my boss is a complete car nut. I got to wet my pants in a 2004 Cobra, 390hp/tq, 12.9 1/4mi stock. Now THAT was fun. And those Mustangs can actually handle a road course pretty well, so I hear and read anyway....

No...they can't handle the road courses, their drivers can. Remember driver experience is like 99 percent of getting through a race... Oh yeah I wasn't saying anything about the upper model mustangs being slow, they're far from it.

And as I said before, fwd=no traction. Have fun tryin to get 300+hp off the line quickly with a fwd car.

so....everyone thinks the sohcs are s***?? 15 horses = nothing most of the time. im with sohcadel. last time i checked, the E was just as buildable as the DE. the whole KA series is sh!tty (comparitively), we all know that.

I don't think they're sh1t lol. I just prefer dual cams to single. The VG30E would easily take a KA24DE

I drove my buddies 90, and I couldn't tell too much of a difference between my 91 and his 90. But I also prefer the DOHC motors just as a personal preference.

I've driven a 95(auto), 90, and 91. I definately prefer the S13's, and I'm no saying that just because I own one. Yes the 95 was an auto, but still. I would buy a 97-98 though, just because they look awesome. My friends 98 Honda Civic HX, now that needs some power.

Glad I could help. I love to just drive new cars to see how they handle, and the power they have. I've driven quite a few cars for only being 19. :D BMW X5, 300zx TT, 90-91-95 240sx, altima, sunfire, cavalier, SRT-4, crossfire, basically every new mopar car, civics, preludes, 03 SVT cobra, 68 camaro, eclipses, and the list goes on. Working at a dealership definately had it's perks. I'm still looking to try out a 350Z and some pure sports cars though.

and don't forget that the rwd cars have more drivetrain loss than the fwd.... It doesn't matter how much horsepower the engine makes. All that matters is the amount of hp that can be put to the wheels....

I'd have to say the 240's are among the top(of the cars I've driven) when it comes to handling. They are a little above average in the hp category for similar cars. I also prefer the interior in the 240 compared to most of the cars I've tried, but you can't beat the play toys in the X5. I mean that thing beeps when you get close to something, now thats cool. I'd have to rate the 240's at about a 7 for overall, but with more hp it would be about a 9-10. I love my 240 though and am glad I have it even after driving many different cars.

alright as far as I know with a good driver a stock 240SX (dohc) will run mid16's. I really don't know about the sohc but I read they were high16s, low17s...
