My buddy just got a 240sx hb with the ka24e, when he got it, it was clicking like crazy like most do. We figured it was just the valves like most of the ka24e's. After farther inspection we found the guide on the right side of the motor was broken in half so we dropped the pan removed the front cover and fished out pieces of plastic and replaced the guide (someone else has been in the oil pan already). We reinstalled everything like it was originally but now we have absolutly zero oil pressure, No oil in the filter or anything, we did have oil pressure before, We are on the second pump.

I know this has been talked about before and i have read most of the fourms still coming up zero everything we read says the oil pump is self priming after a constant crank of 30 secs, but we arnt getting anything.

Sorry if its hard to follow, any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Issue has been fixed on the front cover there are two gaskets that need to be installed if not then you will not get any oil pressure it will be sucking in air if you see any of the two gaskets there are being pointed to in the picture do not discard them we found them in the oil pan and set them to the side not know what they were. After some research we found where they went and there the reason we had no oil pressure.
