240sx ka24e noise on acceleration

Hey to all, i tried looking this around in the forms and no luck. I just finish working on my 240sx and when i start and drive when its could it doesnt make the crackling or rattling noise from the engine bay. Once the car warms up everytime i accelerate it makes that noise and contiunes on and on. When i park the car and rev the engine up and down it doesnt make the noise. the car doesnt leak any oil and doesnt leak water or over heat. i thought it was the water pump but i thought if it was then i would be over heating but i dunno. I really lost if anyone can help please. or if you need more details on something please let me know thanks

what does the noise sound like?

it sounds like rattling or crackling noise.. like maybe the water pump blade is hitting something or has no water or something i dunno ... i lost so lost thanks for responeding and trying to help me

Does it sound like a pencil hitting a fan kinda noise? Check your clutch fan to make sure it is on tight and not flexing. I had the same problem. My motor mounts are weak, so when under acceleleration the engine would flex, making my fan hit the shroud. eventually it caused the fan to crack around where the fan connects to the clutch fan, only making it worse

ok i will check but why wouldnt it make that noise when i rev the car up but only when its moving in gear? thanks jonathan

cause when you accel in gear, your putting a load on it, so the engine flex's more then it would if it was freespinning. I know it doesnt make sense, but I swear to god mine did the exact same thing

If its more rattle than crackle maybe a heat shield? Mine only rattles while driving at certain RPMs, the one on the exhaust manifold.
