240sx KA24DE swap

Alright I've asked a few people on this forum, and as far as the engine mounts, I had one tell me I need new ones, and another tell me that the engine will just bolt right in. I know I need an ecu, but ignitor coils and all that stuff? I just need a list of things I need to get and have to put in, things I need to do to get this thing to work. Its been sittin in my garage and my dad really wants to get to it before he gets older and doesnt wanna work on it, lol. Someone also told me I need a new gauge cluster. What car would I get it for, and if I get it made for my car, why would I need a new one? I really dont know much about cars, but I have to relay this information to my dad who has been a mechanic for 12-15 years. He just needs to know what he has to do to get this ka24de to work int he 89 240sx. Any help is appreciated. Please provide details if possible. Thank you

I told you in another thread.It will bolt in with no problem, you might need new mounts if the old ones are broken or in bad shape.

-DOHC gauge cluster, because the dohc tach signal wont drive the sohc tach. Another solution is an aftermarket tach.

-DOHC ign. chip and coil pack

-DOHC ecu

-DOHC wireharness

-DOHC MAF
