240sx ka24de cams

I was looking to get a Christmas present for my 240sx...I love the sound of a good cam, and also hear that they will give me more top end power. Ive been checking Brian Crower, Jim Wolf. Are these worth the $380-$500 price. Has anyone had any luck with them on a stock ka?

from what ive heard kelford is pretty good. dont expect huge gains on a motor without a power adder though

For the 91? Look into doing valve seats, springs, retainers. Your also going to want to shim the lifter buckets now.

yea deff get the valve springs, and reatainers. if you get the stage 2 it may require them!

Well the Brian Crower Cams say the are a drop in replacement for the stock cams, no modification required. This might mean that it probably doesn't do much?I might just go for a new muffler.I have the cat back setup, but the muffler is not what I wanted.Maybe Megan racing, Apexi universal, or a knock off?

The car is old, things will be worn, the valve seals, lifter bucket shimming, and valve spring pressure shimming shuld be a minimal done.

It's the basics of old and tired and upgrading.
