240sx .... Is it worth it?

So basically my motor is about to blow, i can hear it knocking. So I'm just curious if it would be worth it to keep the car and drop a new motor.

Here the situation;I'm a college student, out of statesJobless but getting money from parents (barely)Plus i already have a Mazda rx7 TII, which is running but wont pass smog,and it idle like crazy.

Need to replace;Not only wil i need a new motor but will need ....new exhaust system, bend the one on it alreadynew brakes, rotors, springsnew window amp? maybe cuz my driver side window wont go up or down, only when i mess around with the amp.no music! deck was stolen.

So i was just thinking about selling the 240sx n putting my money to fix up the mazda rx7? or should i do the other way around? which is a better idea? 240sx has to much problems? Don't know, need some advice!!
