240sx is idling really bad, shakes, sounds bad!

i decided to put in some 370cc injectors and left the safc to 0. it ran poor so i put the 270cc back in. it ran really bad with those. the engine was shaking and the muffler was making a poping sound. i looked underneath the car`and there was a puddle of fuel on the ground. so i put the 370cc back in and set the safc II to -27% for the low and highs. it ran fine but was smoking blue. then i shut the car off and came back and tried to start it and it would not. so i gave it a lil gas and it started up but the car is shaking really bad again and sounds really bad as if i am running on 3 cylinders. also the oil has little bubbles in it.

I have a 91 240sx non turbo, please i need your help!

um Im not one hundred percent sure but you could have gotten gass down into your cylinders when changing your injectors and it ate the oil seal around the rings. Something like this happened to me after one of my injectors went bad, I had left it out waiting for my new one to come and gas got into my cylinders and ate the seal so when I started it up it smoked realy bad and ran realy bad. To fix it I just drained the oil and bought some marvel mystery oil and poored a bit into each cylinder and replaced my oil and poored the rest of the marvel into my oil and gas. And then I drove it and it smoked for a little bit but when we got onto the highway it all blew out and it doesn't smoke any more.

Sounds like you flooded the enginewith fuel. If I were you I'd drain the oil and replace it before you spin a bearing of some type. When it is running, is there black smoke coming out of the back? Does the engine rev easily or is it stumbling and acting like it doesn't want to rev?

no there is not any black smoke and it revs easily but sounds like cr*p!

What matience have you done to the car? Checked timing? Replaced spark plugs and wires? Distributor cap and rotor?

How about your CTS? Have you checked for erroe codes?

ok i installed some new 270cc and did an oil change and it runs like a champ again. thanks to everyone who helped!
