so you want to put the 240 intake mani on it? not 100% sure if it needs any ECU mods (cause it may run a different MAF... i haven't done a lot of research on this yet) but it should be a direct bolt up... just pick an intake (cold air or stock)

I love the relocated half-size battery idea, but get a sealed one that won't seep acidic gas into the cab. Short ram intake would rock. Here's some cam specs...89-90 240sx STOCK cam intake: 240 degrees duration, .409 in valve lift exhaust: 248 degrees duration, .409 in valve lift

90-97 Hardbody STOCK cam intake: 232 degrees duration, .382 in valve lift exhaust: 232 degrees duration, .382 in valve lift

If you do swap a used 240 cam, get the rocker assembly with it from the donor motor and keep the rockers in all their original positions. The manifold itself is already gonna have a top end increase, even with the truck cam. There is a list of aftermarket cams I can post if you want me to.

be careful with the half sized battery... braille for example will last less than a year

yuasa and deka are both pretty decent. but yes AGM technology is important so you don't get battery acid exploding on you or something... optima and yuasa both work for this

optima is what i use... great battery and it will last.... yuasa also extremely good and small like you want
