I'm a college student with honors (if that helps determine car insurance costs), and I plan on getting a 1995 240sx SE. How much do ya'll think the insurance'll be? My friend said his '96 240sx's insurance under his parents' names was more expensive than his dad's insurance for his '99 Camry.

Call around and get quotes. There is too much to look at to try and base what your rates will be on someone else's premiums. I'd bet te 240sx would be cheaper for your dad than your friend as well.

I don't think I would need comprehensive coverage. But I would def get liability coverage. Should I get collision coverage too? If my car gets wrecked and they find a sr20, will I get in trouble?
