I didn't look at the site or anything, but i thought in europe they got the 200sx (240 with an sr20det) cause in england and down under they are called 200sx's.

LOL! I'm from Germany, and I've never even seen a 240 over there. It must be fun, cause over there, there are no Cat-converter restrictions, and the Autoban just kicks ***. Hate to say it, but I'd be carefull who I messed with over there if I was in a 240, cause there are some wicked Beamers, CLKs and Opels. Even the VWs are fast over there......(Ok, we all know that was a joke)

VW's can be very fast, actually. There seems to be a misunderstanding all over the country that only England and Japan are RHD, with a few other countries I think. Not many though.

"Only the backwards ones"Huh? Seriously, a 1.8T Jetta/Golf could smack a 240 with proper tuning (assume that the 240 has little or no tuning). The 1.8T powerplant gets huge gains even from just a chip. My bro's A4 1.8T FWD runs 205hp/250lb/ft with just chip and exhaust, something I've noted more than once on these boards. Go to Vortex and read some of their posts, VW tuning can be very serious and very good.

i have a lot of friends that LOVE there Vdubs. i used to like them a lot more than i do now. I think it was sometime around when i realized, their Golfs and Jettas spend more time at the shop than on the road. It's always little stuff, a starter, an alternator, a pump of some kind, but its ALWAYS somethin.

me. "we going cruisin Friday night?"friend. "ok but my Golf's in the shop gettin a ______ pump so i'll just ride with Josh"

I'm a Nissan diehard now but there is a lot of VWs up here in north New England. i would still love to get a hold of a Corrado before i die. the Vr6 though not the supercharged. VW supercharging>? LMAO

I know a guy in Russia, he ownz german-imported S14a. His interior trim is unbelivable. Wood and polishing all over the place (all stock). His speedo reads up to 260 km/h. I know for sure he made 220 on it. Why do we get the worst here in US ?
