I have tried to adjust the idling control to 900 rpms and it still flunctuates (sp?) a lot. It's an automatic and whenever im just driving normally and let go of the gas, sometimes it drops down to as much as + or - 100 revs and power steering is almost off due to not enough revs and as soon as I get on the gas a little bit it goes back to normal. Sometimes it does this and sometimes its normal. What do you guys think the problem is? any help would be appreciated.

possibly a bad idle compesation valve. this has been covered both here in online mechanic and 240 technical sections. try searching for "IACV" or "AAC"
