Hey guys,I've had an 89 hatchback daily driver for over 10 years that I'm now looking to replace. A buddy of mine has a fairly low-mileage 93 HICAS car that I'm trying to talk him out of, but future maintenance of the HICAS scares me a little bit. I've searched this site and there's great info on its basic principles of operation and disabling it for drifting. However, my question is, if I intend to leave the car stock as a daily driver, is the HICAS likely to become a troublesome and expensive maintenance issue in the future? Are parts hard to find?
I've already got one project car and don't need a second one at this time.
Any experience/advice out there with long-term ownership of HICAS cars would be helpful?
Thanks in advance for your help.
JT
