ok so this is my brothers he just bought it for $350 from a ghetto auto auction its a 93 hatchback (ka24de). well the problem is he tried to start it and it wont he did a compression test and said the compression was low. he also told me there was coolent coming out of the front of the engine where the head meets the block(not alot or anything but you know). he said he isnt going to touch it and that its probably a head gasket. he said hes just gonna sell it as is. should i buy it and is it really just a head gasket and if i do buy it and replace the head gasket would anything be messed up?

its very possible that other things are messed up. If the car will not run, it is very hard for me to diagnose what else may be wrong with the limited information I have. If you do buy it, be aware that you may have to put alot of money into it to get it running smoothly again.
