240sx heater core replacement

Hello;
i need to replace the heater core on my 1990 240sx, when i search for parts online i find replacement heater core for $40 , and others cost $200 does anybody know if the cheaper part they sell online fits with out any modification?
i have a used oem heater core from a 93 laying around , but i was wondering if is better to get a new one since is only 40 dollars

I see what you mean. On rockauto.com they list 2 models for under $40 and 2 models over $150. Hmmm....

I would order the cheap one from Rock Auto, then if it is not complete (like has no end tanks or something) you can send it back and get a full refund. They are good like that, if their description led you to an error.

Or search the part numbers online to see if you can find a real picture of one of them.

Thanks ill try that, even if it doesnt have the end tanks i can swap them using the 93' heater core end tanks

So i bought the rockauto heater core for 40 bucks and it was different from the stock 1990 heater core, but i had a 1993 core as a back up so i just swapped the end tanks to the new core and it worked fine, the 1993 core and the rock auto part were the same size but smaller than the 1990 core by the way but not a big difference

Thanks for updating with useful info! Was it hard to swap the end tanks? Soldering required?
