240sx hatch roll cage problem.please help

ok so i have an s13 hatch with (sunroof).i have a cusco 5 point bolt in cage that goes to a coupe,i took the carpet and headliner of but the main hoop that sits behind the driver and passenger side hits the quarter inch part that sticks down for the sunroof.has anyone had this problem before please help me,if i hammer that part up with the sunroof still sit properly?? thanks

the cage is probably for non sunroof. most are. buut you def shouldnt hammer anything unless you dont plan pn using the sunroof completely again haha. modify the cage to fit? idkk man
