5 months of chronic problem with fuel relay going out, blowing fuse . . . cannot find root cause . . . seems it must be electrical.

Begins by "chugging" as if going to die, check engine light indicating O2 sensor code; finally blows fuse and/or relay. I am on my 4th relay and lost count of fuses. Replaced distributor; mechanic decided it might be problem.

after each "fix" I drive for a week or so and it does it all again. If I get out on freeway it happens even sooner.

I am tired of carrying fuses and not trusting my car will get me from point A to point B.

Any advice . . . I am not a mechanic but have done some automotive maintenance and repairs down thru the years.

Thanks in advance.j

goto the faq on the 240sx.org page and check the ecu to see if it is storing codes and read them if it is. Also check all grounds and wires for something cutting into it.
