240sx Fuel Tank

Hey,

I tried searching this forum for Fuel Tank, Gas, Tank results that came up not what I was looking for .

My question is I am currently trying to remove the Fuel Tank and I have removed most of the hoses I have seen except for what appears to be a line in the upper right of my car near the passenger side fender well. I was wondering how do I go about disconnecting this line and what is it?

I have also removed both straps so this appears to be the only thing holding my fuel tank up right now.

its a 90 240sx Hatch btw forgot that =P

There's an access hole under the carpet on the floor of the hatch. Pull that access panel and disconnect all the related hoses and electrical connections. After that, all you'll need to do is get the filler neck hose disconnected and you'll be good.

yea it turned out to be the filler neck, it was so damn hot I didn't really get a good look at it until later at night.... but yea the tank is dropped now =D
