Hello,
Thread is to find out if people think it will help the front pad not lock up as easy by adding the 300zx brake master cylinder to my 240sx.
Car info - 1997 240sx. Used to have ABS, harness got damaged, now running non-abs. Has 300zx calipers, SS lines, with Axxis Metal Master pads up front, stock calipers, SS lines, with Mu pads out back. 235's up front and 255's out back.
I am so use to driving with abs that I am not sure how a non abs S14 240sx should feel. The front seems to lock up way to easy. I have a feeling the smaller tire and camber up front give less traction under braking then the rear allowing it to lock up. Sound correct? Also the passenger side locks up just a tad ealier then the drivers side. (that may be another problem?)
I would love to add the rear 300zx calipers out back as soon as cash allows.
I could for now get a 300zx master cylinder.
Will the 300zx master cylinder help the front to not lock up as easy? Or is the swap more about pedal feel?
Thanks!
