240sx Firewall

For those of you that have installed subs in a 89-94 240sx where did you run your electrical cable through the fire wall? Im goign to be running 4 gauge to a 600 watt Kicker amp. I know it should run on the side of the battery but there doesnt seem to be any sutible holes in the firewall. Do I have to drill new ones?

I used the hole that the hood realease cable goes through on the drivers side of the firewall. I ran 4 gauge through that hole no problem. It just takes a little creativity getting it through the grommett.

just relocate the battery to the hatch. then you can just run it under the carpet. thats what i did for my msd box, plus it puts the weight were it should be
