240sx engine stalling

i dont know whats going or what Im missing.... the car has a hard time starting... once i get it starting it idles fine but when i step on the gass it dies... then i try to start it up again and it wont start.. i have to wait a little bit and try a couple more times before it starts up again and starts all over.. does anyone know what wrong? thanks for any help thanks
