240sx EGI Fuse

The EGI fuse in the engine compartment fuse box keeps blowing!

That car will start and then run for a while and then blow the fuse, and die causing the fuel pump relay to buzz.

Also, when I put a new fuse in, it looks like the alternator is not charging the battery...

The voltage drains when the car is running, and then the fuse will go, and the car will die.

Help! Please!

check the harness feeding the injectors for a short along the valve cover.

Is this a common problem because this just happend to me and I dont feel like tracing all my wires to try to find the short, So does the egi relay usually mess up from the harness right next to the injectors?

I was referring to the fuse not the relay. I think I asnwered your question in your other post.
