240sx door lock trouble.

I bought me a new 240sx after my girlfriend totaled my old one...

it didn't have the key to the ignition, so i robbed my old locks and ignition, got the ignition on...

but im having hell with the door locks!

i pretty much ripped the old ones out, so i have no clue to put them back in, they still have the red and green retainers for the door lock, and everything is still intact, but idk how to take them out without messing everything up.

do i need to take the door handle completely off? cause i know there is a lockring on them, and i just ripped it out with needle nose last time...

figured id use the ones on the new one to reinstall.

gotta drive long distance and lock up my car today, so reply's asap!

I swapped my door handles out too when I first got the car and I had to completely remove the handles. It was some time ago but I remember that the only hard part was manuevering the handles back into place for the bolt in....everything else fell into place easily. I wish I had taken pics of that in hindsight.

mine are kinda broken also...

hopefully some wd 40 will get them working
