240sx dash swap on 90 model hardbody

anyone done this and successfully got the speedo and intrument cluster working? having some trouble finding a wiring diagram for the instrument cluster. not sure which wires go to what. got part of the cluster working, but can't seem to get the backlight working or speedo.

any help greatly appreciated!

cool I will try to pull up the schm's on both at work tomorrow and send or post them for printing. with both of those drawings in hand you should be able to wire that sucker up and have it work.

ok I have the diagrams you need but even with them you may not be able to get the speedo working unless you modify the speed pick up at the trans. the 240 is done with an electronic sensor and the D21 was done with a cable. have you factored that in to what you are trying to do? I have 2 of them scanned but my scanner program started giving me fits and not saveing the scans right. there are about 6 pages total. I will try to reload them in a bit.

pulling a speed sensor from a 95 nissan hardbody that is electric. it'll work. just need to get the illumination lights working and tach too.

ok heres the 95 240 feed diagram. specific wiring diagrams to follow if my @#$% scanner works...lol



Now this is the feed diagram for the 90 D21. no diagrams pulled for this as you can figure it out by your existing set up with this diag.

cool let me know if you need the 240 specific wiring diag you mey need then for the speedo inputs since there are 4 and that diag dosent specify what comes from where
