240sx control arm

ok so, i'm replacing the control arms on my '91 240 hatch and after battling some of the worst rust ever I've gotten everything unattached from the control arm, only where the bolt is attached to the wheel assembly it wont slip out. I've pounded on the old arm with a hammer for like an hour and its not coming out. Am I missing something here?----------------please ignore this whole thing. I found that if i take the entire wheel assembly off and hit directly on the top of the bolt, it comes apart.
