royal purple umm secondarr butterfly mod and gasket matching not exactly easy but virtually free you can at least do the exhaust side when you get headers id estimate that gasket matching and removing the secondary butterflys gives about 10 hp if you have cai and full exhaust and i can say personally that the engind is more responsive (i did intake gasket matching and butterfly modon my 89).....electric fans are also nice prolly around 3-8 hp at hi revs but really seem to help with that responsive thing i did it for $50 but to do it right is about $70 ...... and kinda like glitched said have it running like new mebe after all that is out of the way go and get a reflash that i know nothing about

Start with the tune up, i would use o.e spark plugs, stay away from Bosch plugs they are Nissans enemy and way over priced, i found through experience that NGK or the original equipment are best. check out importperformanceparts.net they have a good selection of cams that are reasonably priced. I would also heavily consider a 2.25 or 2.5 cat back.
