240sx cheap motor mount and trannie mount

Slight n00b wants parts

Where can I get used trannie and motor mounts for my 240sx. Was gonna go for a CRX (honda) but I got home and saw the 240sx and fell in love, now i ask myslef how I ever wanted something different. The only thing is that now I desperatly need new mounts for the trannie and motor, and I cant find any. If I do they're like special order and insanely overpriced. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey aries, this is just a thought, but wouldnt your car be a 570sx now? seeing as a 2.4 liter is a 240. A chevy 350 (5.7 liters) would make it a 570. just a random idea. later.

ON a KA motor, the Nismo Mounts will push the engine up about 1/2 inch to an inch.

Ask yourself this...

1. Can you swap a SR20 into your car w/o changing the mounts. 2. Can you swap a KA24DE into your car w/o changing the mounts.3. Can you swap a CA18DET into your car w/o changing the mounts.

All 3 mounts are the same.

If you took time to look at the links I posted above, then you would know.

One of them is a KA24E owner that installed them just to find that they raise the engine 1/2 and inch. If you have a strut bar then, you have to take it off.

The other post, someone compared the mounts, they are definately different.

go ahead and buy the nismo mounts, but you will only use the transmission mount and have to sell the engine mounts.

I just got done changing out my mounts, with some that I filled in with urethane (used KA mounts). I was in the same boat and I did my research and found that I could not use nismo mounts on my KA24E.
