240SX charging problems

I have a 1991 240SX, put a new battery in it, but none of the components work when I turn the key on. When I start the car, nothing will come on until I rev it up, then everything works: windows, wipers, clock and stereo. The clock shuts off when I turn the key to the off position. Battery shows 12 volts at all times and is brand new, alternator is only 3 years old. The alternator is not drawing the battery down, you can drive the vehicle for long periods of time and it will always restart.

Check the grounds, fuses and relays.

Test the battery and alternator at Autozone or any shop that can do a load test.

Sounds like a relay or voltage regulator issue (internal to alternator)

Alternator fuse, find it, check it.
