240sx buying tips?

I really want to buy a 240sx, but I really want to make sure that I don't buy a piece-o-crap... can anyone give me a good place to look for information or can someone give me some tips??

no one seems to answer so ill bump it up... anyhow, look for rust spots in the engine bay, especially where the strut towers meet the frame, and make sure you check little details, for example, i was surprised there was no spare tire or any related tools in my car, as i took it for granted, and my passanger door couldn't be unlocked with a key from the outside, windshield wipers don't ven come close to hitting the windshield etc. good luck on your new purchase

Listen for timing chain rattle

When you drive the car, make sure it shifts smoothly into all gears, accelerates smoothly across the powerband, no bad starts, no smoke, etc...

Other than a thorough rust inspection and the timing chan thing, just all the stuff you'd look for in any other car.
