Definitely a drop. You mentioned a drift set of tires.. ditch anything heavy in the car. That gigantic sub box, back seat, anything you don't care to lose. Other than that I'd be thinking about freshening up the motor that's in it or maybe looking at a swap if it fits your budget.

Yeah, i wanna get some sportmax 962's to throw on there and use the current set on the rear for drift. As far as droping it goes, Godspeed coilovers?

i drift and im using godspeed coils, i also daily drive the car. After about 10k miles they still work fine, i would recommend them for a budget

I've heard good things about Godspeed I'd definitely check them out for the price.

Whoa my apologies! I meant to say the Koni systems. A lot of my buddies run the Koni yellow shocks and love them.. there are also Tein setups and the like.. but really for a budget there's not a good combination of quality and price imho. Save a few weeks and get the good stuff.

Are you really going to keep that dual 12in sub box in the trunk lol. I got 1 10" sub in a sealed box and it's ludicrously loud - then again I don't have a back seat in my hatch lol

please tell me you welded up those holes up from using those kragen dent pullers and the holes from the wing. your body work doesn't look to bad just needs a little bit more sanding and feathering and it should come out alright.

The Dents were pretty bad previous owner rubbed a pole and dented the whole passenger side of the car. I drilled out some holes and used a dent puller and a hammer, as for filling them goes bondo haha.
Yeah Im getting rid of those subs and the amp, I hate them. So I dont really wanna spend to much maybe 700-1000, godspeed isnt that great then? haha. Yeah some sanding would help alot I started sanding yesterday ill post updates of the body

Yeah, Godspeed has a lot of work to do. But I'm sure they'll get there eventually.

So I have found a pretty bad problem.
Last night I was with a few friends, we found some nice spots set up some cones and were having some fun.
After about 30 min of drifting I pull over and I'm getting this really nasty clanky sound.
So as it idles its making this sound and if I rev it to about 6k and hold it there for a min it fades away
and the sound eventually disappears in total. Imma swap it out soon anyway but as for now I don't have the cash.
Which is why my build is gonna be a little slow.
Here is some updates I did a little bit more sanding. still can use a little more.

I was also thinking about a temp cutting of springs till
I can afford my coilovers. Any suggestions on that?

Another update*
A few nights ago it was raining, so I went out with some friends drifting and I just threw
some doughnut spares on the back. well after some fun we headed back home and I
decided to speed past my friend doing 80+. little did I know there was a 15 mph turn ahead.
I tried to slow down and control the turn but the spares were not having it. I fish tailed
and slid off road into a field, got out of my car and i didn't see anything wrong. so I started it
back up and My friends helped push as I drove my dirt covered car out of the field. So far I have noticed nothing
wrong except that the alignment doesn't seem to be like it used to just off a hair. Other than
my car being covered in dirt I haven't noticed any difference in performance or any leaks.

This is how Chris's 240 looks as of now...cleaning grime off of the $hit wheels, and waiting for a paycheck for coilovers...

- Subs are gone
- Interior is gone, no carpet, no back seats, only passenger and driver
- Fixed clicking noise in engine, no oil LOL :rotfl

4x4 Status FTW.
