Start there. Brembo makes rotors, factory size. I believe q45 brakes bolt right up as well.

If you are looking for aftermarket, get slotted. JUST slotted. Drilled noes not dissipate heat well, and drilled AND slotted rotors removes too much surface area, which does not help braking performance.

Also, look at buying a set of Hawk street pads.

yeah i can vouch that drilled rotors dont seem to stop any better then stock.

i got the baer stock replacement drilled / slotted rotors to try out on my 240 and i havent noticed any gains over the stock ones.

The actual rotor itself will not help stop the car. The reason for drilled/slotted is to dissipate heat during hard driving conditions. This decreases brake fade to an extent. You will not notice and gain in braking performance on the street.

The pads you use are also a big factor in brake performance. Hawks are good for street use.

If you are driving hard and experiencing brake fade, I also suggest switching your brake fluid out to one with a higher temperature range. As brakes heat up, so does your fluid. When it reaches maximum operating temperature, the fluid thins, decreasing it's compressive abilities, therefore not clamping the calipers properly.

jack up the car and move the wheel, if it moves then its your wheel bearing or tie rods
